Bizibooking provides booking and enquiry software to local businesses. When you message a business through a chat widget, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook Messenger, your message is handled by this software on that business's behalf.
What we store
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Name | To identify the appointment |
| Phone number | To confirm the booking and recognise you as a returning customer |
| Email address, if you give one | Confirmations |
| Message content | To run the conversation and let the business see what was agreed |
| Channel and conversation identifier | To reply on the channel you used |
| Appointment details — service, price, time, status | The booking itself |
We do not store payment card details, we do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Automated conversation
Replies are produced by a deterministic rule-based system, not by a general-purpose AI model. Your messages are not used to train any model. Ask to speak to a person at any time by typing talk to a human.
Who else processes it
- Google Cloud (EU region) — hosting and database
- Meta Platforms — if you message via WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger, delivery is subject to Meta's own privacy policy
- Twilio — only where a business uses it for WhatsApp
How long we keep it
For as long as the business needs it to serve you, and for as long as the law requires them to keep records of the transaction. When a business stops using Bizibooking, its data — including yours — is deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Contact the business you booked with, or hello@bizibooking.online. You may also complain to your national data protection authority; in Sweden that is IMY.
See Data deletion for how to have your data removed.
